At Insta Freelance, we are committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and secure platform for both clients and freelancers. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds, cancellations, and dispute resolutions will be handled.
π Refund & Cancellation Policy
π· For Clients
Refunds may be applicable under the following circumstances:
- The freelancer has not started the project after payment.
- The agreed project timeline is missed without valid communication.
- The work delivered is significantly different from the agreed scope.
- Refunds are applicable only on unreleased milestones.
- Once a milestone is marked as “complete” and accepted by the client, that portion is non-refundable.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the payment date.
π· For Freelancers
- Insta Freelance platform service fees are non-refundable once a milestone has been released.
- If a client cancels the project after partial or full delivery, the freelancer must be fairly compensated for the work completed.
- Freelancers are encouraged to keep all communication and project scope documented on the platform.
βοΈ Dispute Resolution Policy
In the event of a disagreement between a client and freelancer, Insta Freelance provides a neutral dispute resolution process.
π§Ύ How to Raise a Dispute
- Step 1: Go to your Dashboard β My Profile β Support β Raise Ticket
- Step 2: Alternatively, email us at info@instafreelance.com
β³ Dispute Timeline
- Disputes must be raised within 7 days of milestone completion or payment.
- Insta Freelance will respond within 48 business hours of receiving the dispute.
π Review & Resolution Process
- Our dispute resolution team will review:
- The project brief
- All communication history
- Submitted deliverables
- A resolution will be made in accordance with our platformβs fairness guidelines.
- Where mutual resolution is not possible, a partial refund may be issued at the discretion of the platform.
π³ Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5β7 business days.
- Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment only (e.g., Razorpay, UPI, card).
- Payment gateway charges (such as Razorpay transaction fees) are non-refundable.

- Clients and freelancers are strongly advised to maintain all project-related communication within the platform to ensure fair resolution.
- Abuse, harassment, or filing false disputes will lead to permanent suspension from the platform.
